The 57th FCA Liberia National Convention was held at New Life Ministries Center in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa on Jan 26th through the 31st. Pastor Michael McCartney was the keynote speaker. Tony Simon and Ed Loughran were also present speaking in the morning sessions. Jon Erickson, a missionary for 30 years to West Africa was present at the conference and spoke in two morning workshops. Pastors and congregation members from 56 churches around Liberia came together for a powerful week of worship and the Word. This year’s theme was “Arise and Takeover.”
The pastors and churches in Liberia have done exceptionally well since the 1990s when FCA missionaries had to leave Liberia because of the civil war. FCA Liberia is now lead by Pastor Kelvin Leo Seneh and Pastor Sumoiwuo K. Dolo. These young pastors are bringing new and fresh ideas to the fellowship in Liberia.
Next year, the FCA Liberia convention will be held in Sinoe, Liberia.
