Churches Planted…Others See Changes

Here are a few news items from around the Fellowship. Good things are happening.

Vanu and Vake Kantayya, outside the Secretary of State office in Boise, ID, having just completed the incorporation of Marketplace Church, a new FCA church plant there. They have been meeting in their home since January and have a core group of about 15.

In January Chris Newton launched Power and Love Church in Phoenix. The first Sunday saw the plant team of 15 joined by another 21 from the community. “We made very strong connections with several people. Some who were crying during the ministry time, said they would return,” says Chris.

Journey Christian Church in Cloquet, MN, welcomed their new pastor, Hollis Graves and his wife, Vicky, officially installing them on April 2 . Hollis has previously served in three Minnesota churches. “What an amazing blessing it has been to be here,” he said. “My hope for the future is to see a church mobilized for fruitful ministry as we partner with God in Kingdom work.”

Bethel Christian Fellowship in Minneapolis recently changed their church’s name to reflect more closely their vision and values of reaching multiple ethnic groups. The church will now be known as Cross Culture Community Church.  Sam Snyder adds, “We greatly appreciate your prayers as we continue on in this journey to join God in his purposes in and through individuals, families, communities, and nations.”
