Pastor Clifford Larson passed away Monday, May 23rd, 2016, just a week after turning 86. He and his wife JoAnn served as missionaries to Uruguay in the 1970s before returning to the states to assist churches in transition.
After a brief time in Texas, they traveled to Los Angeles, where Larson became pastor at Immanuel Christian Assembly and served from 1977 until 1984, when they left for Argentina to teach in the Seminario Biblico de Fe.
Upon their return to the US, they managed camp SaHaLe in Big Bear and led the monthly Immanuel Christian Assembly fellowship meetings for many years.
A graveside service will be held at San Jacinto Valley cemetery (2555 Santa Fe, in San Jacinto) at 10:00 am on May 31, 2016. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am at Hemet Christian Assembly (602 St. John Pl, Hemet CA) with a reception following the service.
