Rev. Paul Johnson passed away this week in Kansas City, KS. He was a life long FCA pastor, growing up in the Duluth Gospel Tabernacle. He was in his late 80’s. He was married to Dee Salley. He pastored churches in the midwest, Staten Island, NY, filled in as interim pastor for years in Church Beside the Road, Seattle, WA, Marquette, MI, and Duluth Gospel Tabernacle, Duluth, MN.
He was well known as a really good preacher with a great sense of humor. He and Dee were my pastors in the early 50’s and greatly influenced my life and also were responsible for Donna & I meeting and later marrying.
